For many, the biggest surprise of the season so far has been the early success of Southampton.
After a convincing 4 - 1 win over Hull at the weekend, The Saints now find themselves sitting third in the Premier League with 21 points. Under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino, the seaside club now look like they could be challenging for a European spot.
For these reasons, they are already considered the Premier League's in-form team. But, now, statistics have also proved this.
Southampton have won four times and drawn twice in their past six games - better than any other team in the Premiership. On top of this they have the best defensive record in the league as they have only let in five goals all season.
Pochettino's men face Arsenal and Chelsea away from home in their next two fixtures. This will be their biggest test yet and will be good indicator of where they rank amongst the Premiership's elite.
