The 2013/14 season has got off to somewhat a strange start - with no clear favourite for the title coming forth.
However something that has been setting off tidal-wave like ripples this term is the impact some young stars having been making for their teams
And luckily for us Englishmen, some of them are our countrymen. Here are two to keep an eye on...
Ross Barkley, Everton
Has there been a more promising talent to come out of Merseyside than Ross Barkley, since Wayne Rooney? The number 10 has been key to The Toffees early success this season - pitching in with goals and assists. His presence and level-headedness make him a candidate for future England captain.
Luke Shaw, Southampton
Shaw has been on many people's radar for sometime now and has gone from strength to strength since making his debut last season. At just 18, he is being hailed as the next Gareth Bale. The left back has strength and is lightening fast - he is also not scared of taking a shot, hitting the woodwork twice this season.
