Who Will Win What This Season: Predictions

We give some educated predictions on what teams will win the big 5 trophies this season- the Premier League title, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League.

We are now two-thirds into the season and it is around this time that one can make an educated guess on who may win which trophy this season.

The League Cup Final between Swansea and Bradford City is this coming Friday, Manchester United are running away with the Premier League title and all the other competitions are being wittled down very quickly.

So who do we think will win what? Below, we give our predictions on who will win the 4 major cups.

Premier League Champions

Although after last season's exciting climax anything seems possible; how can anyone bet against Fergie's men? They currently sit 12 points clear of second place Manchester City. We predict the top four will pretty much stay the same as it is now, with Manchester United top, City behind them, Chelsea third and Tottenham Hotspur trailing the Blues. Prediction: Manchester United

FA Cup

We are into the quarter-final, but 10 teams remains- as both the Everton v Oldham and Middlesbrough v Chelsea fixture need to be decided.  If Chelsea beat Boro they will face Man United and we predict the winner of that game will go on to win the cup. Manchester United are the in-form team at the moment, so our bet is on them to complete a domestic double. Prediction: Manchester United

League Cup

Only two teams remain in the Capital One Cup- both have their own Fairytale to claim. A domestic trophy for Swansea would top off a meteoric rise from the bottom of the football league to an established Premier League side in 9 seasons. Bradford City's is more obvious- a League Two club winning the League Cup; the complete fairytale. Bradford's desire to win will be matched by Swansea. We reckon Swansea will take this. Prediction: Swansea City

Champions League

The quality that remains in this season's Champions League as we enter the knock-out stages. Amongst the favourites are the not-unbeatable Barcelona, learned Italians Juventus and no one can count out Fergie with Manchester United or  Mourinho's Real Madrid. But the cream of the crop seems to be coming from Germany with Borussia Dortmund. But the firm favourites in our eyes are Bayern Munich- who simply look too good. Prediction: Bayern Munich
