General News

Monday 7 January

Cheltenham v Everton- League Two side, Cheltenham play host to The Toffees in this FA Cup tie- the first ever meeting between the two clubs. The home side will be without some key players including midfielder Darren Carter, whilst David Moyes may opt to give a start to his fringe players. Cheltenham will be hoping to cause a major Cup upset. Prediction: Cheltenham 2 - 3 Everton

Tuesday 8 January

Bradford v Aston Villa- After their heroic victory over Arsenal in the last round of the League Cup, Bradford will be playing host to yet another Premiership side in the shape of Aston Villa. It is the first leg of the semi-final for the League Cup, and we are sure the League Two club will believe they can take another giant's scalp. We're sure the whole nation (bar the Villa faithful) will be behind them. Prediction: Bradford 2 v 2 Aston Villa

Wednesday 9 January

Chelsea v Swansea- In the other League Cup semi-final, Swansea will take on the Blues. Both sides have been rather unpredictable over Christmas and the New Year to say the least- so anything could happen in this fixture. In the FA Cup games at the weekend, Chelsea impressively saw off Southampton 1 - 5, whilst Swansea drew against Arsenal yesterday. Prediction: Chelsea 2 - 1 Swansea
