Scott Parker has not played a competitive game of football since the Euros 2012, due to an achilles injury. Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has recently revealed that he may not make a return until Christmas.
But it has now come to light that Parker is preparing for a career in management after starting his coaching badges at Tottenham.
The holding midfielder has been taking training sessions with reserve and youth teams in the past few weeks.
The former Charlton Athletic, Chelsea and West Ham United player, 32, has also been working with some of Tottenham's development players.
