Germany take on England tonight in the 3rd/4th Play-off.
England manager Mark Sampson has said that he wants his side to return home, the best team in Europe. While Germany will want to save face and ensure they get third to try and keep ranked within the top 2. So both sides will be going for the win tomorrow.
During the tournament so far, England have been on a historic run making it to the Semi-Finals for the first time in their history. The side have made tactical changes throughout the tournament and will no doubt hope to keep Germany guessing. Despite the last game Laura Bassett will play a big part in the playoff game as she has been one of the most consistent of the #Lionesses. Fara Williams and Lucy Bronze will also need to be in good form to get through the Germans defence.
While Germany have danger women of their own. Celia Sasic and Anja Mittag have been a good combination for the Germans and will look to play their way through the English defence.
Over the course of the tournament both sides have performed very well and tomorrow will be no different.
