The Manchester Derby: Who will come out on top?

This Sunday will mark the 1st Manchester derby of the season. Louis Van Gaal will go head to head with Pellegrini. With the wealth of talent available and fierce rivalry between the sides the game looks to be an exciting occasion.

The stage is now set for one of the biggest games of the season when Manchester United head to The Etihad Stadium for the 1st Manchester Derby of the season.

Louis Van Gaal's men have showed encouraging form recently after beating West Ham and Everton and drawing with league leaders Chelsea. During their previous game (with Chelsea) Man Utd showed a reluctance to give up and scored in the 90th minute with some saying it was reminiscent of Fergie Time.

On the other hand Manchester City have shown a dip in form having lost to Newcastle and West Ham in their previous two games. Although many see the game as the perfect chance for City to get one over on their rivals and begin a good run of form.

Both teams will be eyeing a higher Premier League finish than their rival and the game should throw up a thrilling occassion with a wealth of talent for both sides on display.

Key Utd Players:

-Rooney who returns from his three match red card ban

-Di Maria

-Robin Van Persie

Key City Players:

-Sergio Aguero

-Yaya Toure

-Vincent Kompany

Our Prediction: 2-1 to Manchester United
