On a late Saturday afternoon Manchester City met Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Aston Villa looked to have a strong and composed line up and having gained a reputation of taking the game to the big teams.
Manchester City knew they would face a tough game against Villa but hard work and persistence paid off for City, when midfielder Yaya Touré scored late on in the game with a powerful finish into the bottom corner.
Top striker Sergio Agüero then scored 6 minutes later with another fantastic finish. The win sees Man City move into second place above Southampton. The match also saw Christian Benteke make his Premier League return after a bad injury.
Both Villa and City looked to have enjoyed the occassion and both will no doubt be raring to secure a win after the international break.
