The World Cup Begins Tomorrow!

The Brazil 2014 World Cup begins this Thursday 12th June. Will teams prosper under the intense heat or collapse from the pressure and weight of expectations?

It's finally here, the Brazil World Cup 2014 will be starting tomorrow with Brazil vs Croatia and if one match isn't enough there will be matches on every single day up to June 26th, and beginning again on June 28th until 1st July (where the Quarter finals begin).

Brazil of course are favourites to win the tournament being the home nation, with most of their hopes pinned on Neymar. Taking some well known high level players Germany and Spain are expected to do well this year. Should Spain win the World Cup they will have won the competition back to back.

This year England have chosen to take a younger team than in previous years hoping youth will outdo experience, although there are some experienced faces which include Steven Gerrard and Ricky Lambert. Similarly the USA have also opted for a more youthful look by leaving out Landon Donovan.

Australia and Iran are two of the outsiders this year especially after Australia were placed in the Group of death (Group B) alongside Spain, Holland and Chile.

While we expect a lot of goals, excitement and passion during the tournament there will of course be a few stand out players, here's some we think could be up for Player of the tournament or Golden Boot. Lionel Messi, Neymar, Ross Barkley, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa to name a few.

Kick off is 9:00pm BST(British Summer Time) so we hope you enjoy the World Cup and while it's on look out for our Social media comeptitions , including an exclusive competition on Google Plus where entrants will have the chance to win one of our biggest give-aways ever!
