Which play-off team will be making their way to the Premier League

This weekend marks the play-off final between QPR and Derby at Wembley with the victor earning a place in English Footballs highest tournament the Premier League.

This weekend the Championship play-off final takes place between QPR & Derby County. Having both managed in the Premier League before, Redknapp and McClaren will know what it takes to get there and even more importantly to stay there which either side will be looking to do should they win the game. Here's our analysis of each team and our prediction of who will win:

QPR: Having being relegated last season they will be looking to get back into the Premier League once again. With key players due to return from injury for the game which include holding midfielder Kranjcar and left back Benoit Assou-Ekotto we think QPR will be ready for the challenge. We're expecting Redknapp to instil a winning mentality in his players just like their previous game during which QPR scored in extra time to beat Wigan.

Derby: After six years out of the Premier League derby players and fans alike will be itching to get their team into the top flight again. The Derby squad for the game includes enthusiastic striker Chris Martin who's scored 20+ goals this season and exciting midfielder Craig Bryson who always gives his all for the club. As well as the players McClaren will be going against good friend Harry Redknapp who he actually started the season under at QPR. Knowing Redknapp well we expect some tactical changes from McClaren to combat QPR.

Our Prediction: We expect QPRs Premier League experience and firepower to overpower Derby, but we predict a close game with a 2-1 win for QPR. Although we know with a place in the Premier League and a reported figure of £90milllion up for grabs anything can happen.
