Moyes is not the chosen one

After a disappointing season so far, alot of questions have been raised about David Moyes and his reign at Manchester United but after only 10 months in charge he has been let go.

On Sunday Manchester United lost 2-0 to Moyes' old team, Everton. By Tuesday Moyes got his marching orders from the Manchester United board after only 10 months in charge.

The loss to Everton confirmed that United will not be in the Champions League next season, which tipped the board over the edge.

With shareholders and fans to keep happy the board felt this was the best decision for the club. However, was Moyes really left with a good enough side to compete with the likes of Chelsea, City or Liverpool.

Ferguson suggests they were, yet many including Roy Keane believe that players have failed to live up to expectation.

Now the club have said they are looking for an experienced manager who has achieved success in Europe. The strongest link to the job so far has been Netherlands manager Louis Van Gaal.

What are your views on Moyes' sacking, did he need to go or should he have been given longer let us know through Google Plus, Twitter and on our Facebook page.
