Can England beat Denmark?

Ahead of England's game against Denmark tonight we assess if England are up to the challenge.

Tonight England face Denmark in an International Friendly. This will be a test for both teams with Roy Hodgson trying to find his World Cup Squad and Denmark with nothing to lose after failing to qualify for Brazil.

Tonight England have included a few unfamiliar faces to their England Squad. The first is Luke Shaw who will make his first appearance for England tonight, he has beaten experienced Everton defender Leyton Baines to the left back position. Another less familiar face in the squad is Adam Lallana who played well in his previous two England call-ups.

With these inclusions, we see Roy Hodgson experimenting with England before the World Cup. Yet we think Hodgson will still be expecting a win against Denmark tonight especially after bringing in psychiatrist Steve Peters to mentally prepare the team for Brazil.

On the other hand Denmark will be hoping players like Agger and Bendtner pull a win out of the bag. Agger yesterday claimed "I want England to win the World Cup but only after we beat them first". Fighting talk for Hodgson and his men.

Our Prediction for tonight is 2-1 England.
