Following the shock defeat against Newcastle at the weekend, many at Chelsea are wary of the Autumnal slump that has troubled them in the past three seasons.
It may come as a surprise to those not in the know - but in the past three seasons, The Blues have only won 6 out of 21 games played in November.
Chelsea take on Schalke tonight in the Champions League and hope to bounce back from their 2 - 0 defeat away at Newcastle. They previously beat the German team 3 - 0 away from home on 22nd October.
Today's game aside, Chelsea have three more fixtures to fulfil in November. Their opponents include West Brom, West Ham and Basel - all games, that on paper, they should win.
However, with this November "curse" looming over them, who knows how the Chelsea player may perform?
