Ian Holloway will be returning to our screens weekly, after winning promotion to the Premiership with Crystal Palace at Wembley in the play-off final against Watford.
Holloway saw his side dominate Gianfranco Zola's men during long periods of the game. Yet he had to wait until extra-time for veteran striker Kevin Phillips to convert a penalty, before he could start jumping for joy.
The wonderkid Wilfried Zaha also played his part in the proceedings- winning the penalty. It was the young Englishman's final game for The Eagles and he was visibly emotional at winning promotion for his boyhood club.
Another player overcome by the moment was centre-back Damien Delaney, who was seen crying with joyin the Wembley stands- he was out of a job at the start of the season.
Before the game, many fancied Watford's vast array of international talent to overcome Crystal Palace. However, The Hornets never really got going and Palace were the deserved winners.
The south London side will now pocket £120m from going up and plan to use some of the money to renovate their stadium, Selhurst Park.
Ian Holloway has already suggested it will be a struggle for his side to avoid relegation next season, so it is expected that he will be looking for funds to strengthen his squad. A replacement for Zaha may prove critical.
However, the newly-promoted side will enjoy the perfect end to an eventful season...
