Sergio Aguero is statistically most leathal Premiership goalscorer ever

After scoring a brace against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Sergio Aguero now has the best minutes-per-goal ratio in Premeirship history of any player that has scored more than 40 BPL goals - with 119.5 minutes per goal.

Sergio Aguero's impressive masterclass in attack against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, in which he scored a brace, has statistically made him the most potent goalscorer in Premier League history.

The Argentine overtook Thierry Henry's minutes-per-goal record for players who have scored over 40 BPL goals. For every 119.5 minutes he has played, Aguero has scored a goal.

The forwards terrific run of form continued as his Manchester City side battered Spurs 6 - 0 and leapfrogged to 4th in the table.

After the goal-drenched game at the Etihad Stadium yesterday, City have scored 26 goals at home already this season - more than any other team have managed in both home and away fixtures.

On top of his brilliant career record, Aguero has another record to celebrate this season. He is the Premier League's leading goalscorer this term, with 10 goals to his name already this season.

Already a legend in many Manchester City fans' eyes, could this be the season that Aguero cements his name as a Premiership all time great?
