Euro U21 Semi Finals: Who to look out for

He's our pick of the top five players to look out for in the Euro U21 Semi Finals.

The European Semi-Finals take place this weekend and there's some great young talents available in the squads. Here are our top five, based on flair, pace, skill, team-work and individual ability:

1. Ter Stegen - Germany

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is already known as a great player, having played for Barcelona most recently in the Champions League Final. He is known primarily for his distribution of the ball and has made 4 appearances for the Men's side. He has been known to save a penalty or two and is good at closing players down.

2. Yussuf Poulsen - Denmark

While playing for R.B Leipzig he has developed the ability to play either as a shadow striker or winger. Which has benefitted his team greatly having scored 21 goals in just 65 appearances. Known as wonderkid of European football, Poulsen has a great touch and can hold the ball up when needed. Coupled with a pace, Poulsen is a player everyone should keep on their radar during the semi-finals.

3. John Guidetti - Sweden

Guidetti has had a strange time during his club career after signing for Man City in 2008 but has yet to make an appearance for them. Having been on loan at five different clubs, although these include Burnley, Feyenoord, Stoke and Celtic. With eyes for a good finish and legs to put power behind the ball he has been likened to fellow Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

4. Max Meyer - Germany

Meyer has been on a number of big clubs transfer list due to his talents. During the 2014-15 season Meyer scored the only goal in a must-win game for Schalke to qualify through their Champions League group against Maribor. Known for creating an impact in midfield as well as an accurate passing ability. At just 19 he is one to keep an eye on.

5. Ruben Neves - Portugal

Playing as a defensive mid that like to get forward. Neves is known as a player with a great first touch that will then distribute through to the attack and can wreak havoc in defences. Despite being only 18 he has already been compared to the likes of Joao Moutinho for his midfield ability.
