Germany vs Argentina: Who will win footballs biggest prize?

On the 12th July at 8pm in Rio De Janeiro, Germany will meet Argentina in the FIFA World Cup final. Here's our preview of the match and who will win footballs biggest prize.

Sunday will mark the final of the Brazil 2014 World Cup. Which will feature European giants Germany and South American Wonder team Argentina. Here's our preview:

Germany:

Germany have shown that there's no i in team with their performances, as every player has had a role to play in their journey towards the World Cup final. With Muller and record World Cup goal scorer Klose expected to start the Argentine defence will have their hands full and that's without the added factor of, accurate playmaker Toni Kroos and the class of Mesut Ozil in midfield. Solid defenders Hummels and Howedes will be expected to cope with Argentina's aggressive attack and of course Messi! We expect the Germans to keep up their play of fast and direct passing and will most likely try to score by drilling the ball across the six yard box from the wings.

Argentina:

Argentina will be well aware of the way Germany play and will try to counter it, which they did well against Holland (as Holland and Germany play a similar style).  In order to counter the German's wingers  they will have to make sure that both their wing backs Marcos Rojo and Zabaleta play deeper and attack less. Meanwhile Mascherano and Biglia will be expected to stop Kroos and Özil's attacking movement. Although it will be Germany who have to adapt higher up the pitch as the Argentina attack consists of Higuaín, Lavezzi and now Agüero not to mention probably the world's best player Messi. With fast football expected from Argentina they will be hoping to hit Germany on the counter attack., to win the game

Who will win?

Both teams have their fair share of threats but we think the game will end with a 2-1 Germany win and them scoring the 2nd goal in extra time.  Despite Argentina's incredible strike force, Germany have shown a hunger to the win the tournament with every game and with the confidence from the last game against Brazil they will definitely set out to win. Not to say Argentina won't put up a good fight. However the game turns out, we expect a thrilling match and a great end to the World Cup.
