Which teams could / have qualified for World Cup 2014?

As the qualifications for the FIFA World Cup come to an end, many of the 32 places in next Summer's tournament are yet to be decided. We take a look at who already have and can still qualify for Brazil 2014.

The 2014 World Cup in Brazil is now only eight months away - yet there are still 18 places up for grabs. The final qualification games take place in the coming weeks.

There will be a total of 32 teams at the World Cup next summer. Below, we take a look at who has already qualified and which team's fate remains undecided across the six FIFA confederations.

Africa 

Already qualified: None

Could still qualify: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Tunisia, Cameroon, Ghana, Egypt.

Asia 

Already qualified: Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea 

Could still qualify: Jordan 

Europe 

Already qualified: Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland 

Could still qualify: Croatia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Armenia, Sweden, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Iceland, Slovenia, Russia, Portugal, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, England, Ukraine, Spain, France

North, Central America and Caribbean 

Already qualified: Costa Rica, United States of America

Could still qualify: Honduras, Mexico, Panama

Oceania 

Already qualified: None 

Could still qualify: New Zealand 

South America 

Already qualified: Argentina, Brazil (host), and Colombia 

Could still qualify: Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay
