The Under-21 European Championship in Israel kicks off tomorrow when hosts Israel take on Norway at 7pm. England's campaign will begin a few hours after- when they play Italy.
As ever in Under-21 tournaments, England are one of the favourites of the competition. Other teams worth puttiing a bet on include tomorrow's opponent's Italy, current Euro holders Spain, the Netherlands and Germany.
Eight teams have qualified for the tournament and have been divided into two groups. Group A consists of Israel, England, Norway and Italy. Whilst Spain, the Netherlands, Russia and Germany make up Group B.
The winners and runners-up of each group will progress to the semi-finals, and the winner of them will play in the final which takes place on 18th June.
Israel has been a controversial choice as hosts due to the Gaza-Israel conflict. There have been calls from politicians, religious groups and professional footballers to boycott the competition. However, no such action has taken place.
