Euro 2016 has turned out to be quite fantastic for Great Britain as all 3 competing home countries have qualified to enter the round of 16!
This tournament marks Wales and Northern Irelands debut into the UEFA Euro, and so it is exceptional to see that they - along with England - are progressing into the next stage of such a competitive tournament.
Wales have not only made it into the round of 16, but they just knocked England out of the first spot in Group B with 2 wins, and 1 loss. Despite losing 1-0 against world champions Germany, Northern Ireland are moving on to the next stage thanks to Turkey's 2-0 win over the Czech Republic. Tonight (Wed 22nd June) we find out if N. Ireland will be playing France or fellow British team Wales.
Although we will all be supporting different home countries, there's no denying this is a triumphant time for Britain as England, Wales and Northern Ireland move onto the knockout stages.
No matter what happens now, history has been made for Great Britain in this tournament.
