Tactical Cam - Good idea for Coaches?

Tonight Sky's Monday Night Football coverage of Arsenal vs Liverpool will be available through a tactical cam but is this a good idea for coaches?

Liverpool take on Arsenal tonight, but Sky's Monday Night Football program are offering a twist, the match will be available in a tactical cam view.

So what is tactical cam?

This is the view that Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher watch the game in, ready for their analysis at half time and at the end of the game. This means all 22 players are always in shot, so viewers can see, the formations teams are playing, where the full-backs move when the team attacks, what the midfielders do when the teams defending etc. Allowing for a tactical view of the game hence the name "Tactical Cam".

How can you find it?

The tactical cam view will be available via the Red button during Monday Night Football programme on Sky. You can find out more about the tactical cam here - http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/9957849/introducing-tactical-cam-your-chance-to-watch-mnf-like-the-professionals

Is it useful for coaches?

Some have already claimed that it's good for coaches studying the game, with Gary Neville saying he uses it in his England coaching role and England Women's Manager Mark Sampson tweeting on the subject to Sky - "Great news for all coaches! Well done".

So what are your views on the tactical cam is it good for coaches? Let us know @fitforfootball.
