Man Utd vs Chelsea: The Return of Fergie Time

It was the master vs the apprentice last Sunday. Mourinho may have thought he'd come out on top until Fergie Time returned.

Mourinho and his mentor Louis Van Gaal exchanged hugs and friendship at the start of the game at Old Trafford.

During the match Chelsea expected to dominate the game but Utd turned that idea on its head. With Manchester United gaining 19 shots compared with Chelsea's 9. Both teams had key players injured meaning Chelsea were left with Costa and Remy out and Rooney and Falcao were out for Manchester United.

Remaining Chelsea striker Drogba converted a corner in typical fashion during the 53rd minute. Once the goal was scored Mourinho did switch more defensively especially when putting Mikel on.

Man Utd however, were less than happy to leave the game as it was. Their chance came when Ivanovic was sent off and they had a free kick at the edge of the pitch. Reminiscent of their time under Ferguson, Van Persie equalised for Man Utd in the 90th minute. The match ended 1-1.

Chelsea will be disappointed to lose the two points during the game but Manchester United fans will take a lot of positives from the match especially with the way Van Gaal's men played.
