Yesterday saw Manchester City leave the FA Cup after losing to Wigan 2-1. This now means Arsenal are the favourites to win the competition but after eight years without a trophy could it be possible?
Arsenal's last trophy win was in 2005 which was also their last season at Hibury. Ofcourse this squad was filled with Arsenal legends like Theirry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Robert Pires.
Despite being favourite's Arsenal will still have a relatively tough challenge ahead if they wish to win the FA Cup. First they have to get past last years winners Wigan Athletic and even so they could be facing Nigel Clough's Sheffield United who may have got some tips from his father or Steve Bruce and Hull, who have had a great season and find themselves in 13th place.
Arsenal fans will be demanding their team which now includes the likes of Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski to go all the way and win the cup.
