After being comfortably beaten by Chile 2 - 0 on Friday, England will face an even bigger task tomorrow when they face the German national team.
Despite being without Mesut Ozil, Philipp Lahm and Manuel Neuer, Germany will enter the game as firm favourites due to the vast array of talent at their disposal. This group of players are being dubbed "the Golden age of German Football".
It seems that Germany have one of these "golden ages" every 8 to 10 years. So how good are these current crop of players that make the squad?
Three Premier League stars feature regularly for Germany; Chelsea's Andre Schurrle and Arsenal pair Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker.
Borussia Dortmund contribute four players to the squad - they are Mats Hummels, Marcel Schmelzer, Marco Reus and Sven Bender.
However, unsuprisingly, there are more Bayern Munich players than any other team. Players from the Bundesliga champions include Jerome Boateng, Philipp Lahm, Mario Gotze, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller.
Other noticeable talents include young midfielder Julian Draxler who plays for Schalke 04 and Real Madrid's Sami Khedira.
As you can see the current German squad is littered with players that could make a World XI, not just one nations. England fans will, therefore, not expect much from the game tomorrow.
German fans, on the other hand, will expect their team to win... not just the game tomorrow but most probably the World Cup next year.
