England's injury woe for Chile game

A number of England regulars have pulled out of the friendly match against Chile on Friday - the latest are Steven Gerard and Kyle Walker.

Another two key players will miss Friday's friendly match at Wembley between England and Chile, as the national side's injury woe continues.

Tottenham star Kyle Walker and captain Steven Gerrard have joined the growing list of players who have ruled that they will be unable play on Friday.

Earlier in the week, Manchester United duo Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck also withdrew from the squad.

Another two players who have been named in the squad but still may not make an appearance are Frank Lampard (illness) and Daniel Sturridge (foot).

In truth, we would rather this injury trouble happen now than in Summer 2014.
