The FA Cup. Anything can happen. The last round proved that all over again- with Oldham beating Liverpool, just to wet your appetite. This weekend the FA Cup will take centre stage again.
There is only one replay from the previous round due to be played- as West London's finest, Chelsea and Brentford, do battle once again. The remainder of the games are all fresh new ties for the football to sink their teeth into.
Below we take a look at three games that are sure-fire stunners...
Oldham v Everton
The League One side may be struggling in the league but in the FA Cup, they are slaying giants. Oldham beat Everton's neighbours and bitter rivals, Liverpool in the last round after a brave performance. The Toffees have been strong throughout the season and now sit sixth in Premiership table- they may not be as easy to slay as Liverpool's lacklustre squad were. However with the team spirit they have shown previously, anything is possible for the The Latics. Could Oldham emulate what Bradford have done in the league cup and take another top-flight head?
Chelsea v Brentford
The only replay being played this weekend is between two West London rivals. Chelsea looked like they were making an exit from yet another competition when Forrester converted a penalty in the 73rd minute for their neighbours. But it was up to Fernando Torres to save The Blues from embarrassment- he slotted home seven minutes from time. The game at Griffin Park was full of twists and turns as The Bees showed how much it would mean to them if they were to knock-out Chelsea. This second tie promises much of the same as the sides travel to Stamford Bridge.
Man City v Leeds United
After suffering an embarrassing defeat against Premiership struggler Southampton, Man City's title hopes are virtually out of the window. Meaning that the FA Cup is the only competition that they remain competitive threats in. Many believe that if City were to lose, that Roberto may be out of a job by Monday- so many of eyes around Europe will surely be watching this one. Although they are plying their trade in a lower league, Leeds United can not be underestimated. Neil Warnock's men beat Spurs with an impressive performance in the last round. Expect drama.
